Great Bible app. I use it everywhere I go.

Love this app! Great for school.

Ive been using this app for several years. It IS my Bible. Its gotten better and better since I first started using it; I look forward to future enhancements! I like that all my study tools are in one place. I can purchase add-on resources within the app, such as devotionals, study Bibles, commentaries, Strongs Bibles. There are so many options!

Had the app for several months. Translations are spot on. But, I downloaded six or more additional translations and they seem great, until you begin to highlight, underline, and make notes. Highlighting in the one translation does not populate into any of the other translations. The Life Application Study Bible does populate highlights and notes throughout the other translations but it is a bit clumsy to highlight. Also the "study" notes are terribly rudimentary and exceptionally lacking. Pull up a note in Romans and youll often get a reference to jump to Mark or wherever to read the note on such and such verse, then you got to remember where you were in Romans to get back on track. Did I mention that the study notes are dismal? Contacted support about this issue and never heard back. Surprised? Not really.

Daily reading of the bible opens me up to the teachings of Christ and the presence of God in everything. Amen

Love this app! I use many of the features and it has helped me tremendously in my study of the Word. Love the search feature, highlights, folders and many of the other tools!

I enjoyed this app for a few months. Its very much like reading my NIV. The down side is updates are huge, if dont have wifi available you can hang it up. I had trouble getting it to open and went to the support page where I was told my browser was too old. Now it wont open at all. Save your money if you own an older phone!!!

I have many other bible apps more powerful and much more complicated without accomplishing much more, only more frustrating. Although I find this one very enjoyable to use! When youre involved in daily devotions the last thing you need is a frustrating bible app like many of the other bigger ones I have like Logos 6 tho it cost hundreds of dollars more. This one has all you need to do a thorough bible study. I love the beautiful layout! This app makes the others look ugly! I have bought several more in app bibles, helps, and devotionals, all work well with each other. For instance I can use NIV Study Bible notes while reading any other version, great features!

Great value compared to hard copy and works great on the go. I wish the text to speech narration was as good as youversion bible app (This app has a robotic sound to it that distracts from the message)

Love this app, the search ability, ability to go back to previous passage, ability to have. Different versions and commentary all in one. Highlighting in different colors, forwarding verses and sync between my phone and iPad is amazing! Love, love, love!

This is definitely a 5-star app; quality, user friendly, great add-ons, value ... Due to a glitch (possibly caused by my impatience), I also had the opportunity to connect with the Tecarta Help Desk. Cory was prompt, polite, understanding, detailed, knowledgable, and helpful. Tecarta, you have reason to be proud of your app and customer service.

I especially enjoy the time line and maps that I can access anytime, while reading through passages.

I have used the Zondervan NIV study Bible for years. As such, I dont use the ancillary material much any more, caring only for the Scripture verses themselves. This app is generally good. I have a few nuisances: - footnotes are not presented clearly - I would prefer a separate footnote as a superscript number which would display the footnote when tapped. This was how the Palm version showed them. (I am mainly using an iPad mini at present.) - navigation of the help system is not intuitive for me. Again, I have been using this for years now, so this may not be something which others find bothersome. - I would like to see more control over font size. On the Mini, I dont seem to have a way to have a full-width view of a single page in landscape mode. Since cataract surgery, this would be highly, no HIGHLY desirable for me. - as an occasional iOS app developer, I would prefer that the app use standard Apple-provided icons. The custom icons are not intuitive for me. ...but enough of the nuisances. The important thing is that you spend time regularly or daily reading the Word of God, and this app is a more than reasonable choice. May God bless your studies!

Update 3/4/16. This App started good. In Jan it started acting up. I have worked with the developer for 2 months. They are unable to solve refresh problem. Save your money until it works correctly. I will check it periodically and repost if/when they get it going. This is the best stand-a-lone NIV App. Amazing all of the information herein. You can also purchase other translations and they use the same format as the NIV, and work within it. I havent been able to get the notes and highlights to show from one translation to the other. I also use PocketBible (by Laridian). It is good in all of the translations it has available, and also many commentaries. Each one is an additional cost. I like and use them both. If you are into free (and who isnt) then YouVerson is also very good. Read, study, contemplate, and heed all that is there. My God bless you and give you His peace.

The NIB Study Bible app that has become my most prized Bible and it is my go-to Bible for all occasions. Once you purchase this app, it has within it the option to purchase different Bible versions and keep them side-by-side for easy comparisons. The highlighting and note taking works great - much better than trying to write in a book style Bible. I purchased within this app three separate Bible versions to cross reference - The Message, New American Standard, and the New Living Translation. The app syncs all of your notes and highlights so you can put the app on an iPhone and iPad - once purchased one time - and then have all changes stay up to date between the two devices. I keep the NIV and NLT translations up the most - along with the NIV study notes. This App is the best! I have used it for several years now and have never had any problems.

This is a fantastic bible app, I use it many times a week on my iPad for study and preparing teaching. Love the latest upgrade and how the study bible now tracks with multiple versions of the bible. Love the note taking capacity. Great and listening app support team as well. Fantastic app, I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially for the likes of students and pastors. (I have tried the competition and cannot find anything better.) Cheers Kel

I bought one with two devotionals, every update the devotionals vanish and tecartas does not replace them. So i BOUGHT this 24$ version and it crashes every time I open it. I want my money back Now. Not they will I sure didnt get the 7.99 each for the devotionals back. Crummy software
